Broccoli grown by the Georgian company Magali will be sold in the US supermarket chain Kosher, Trend reports via Georgian media.
As reported, soon, the United States will begin exporting about 160 tons of broccoli grown in a greenhouse by Magali.
The founder of the company is Rafael Magalashvili, an Israeli citizen. He is also the founder of another successful fruit freezing company Glenberry in Georgia. Glenberry produces high-quality frozen fruits and berries (peaches, plums, cherries, cherries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries).
Recently, the company planted strawberries on 11 hectares in Shida Kartli. In the municipality of Gardabani, the company will organize greenhouse on 30 hectares, where strawberries and raspberries will be grown.
Magali also grows 3.5 ha of tomatoes, which are sold only in Italy.
