National Iranian Copper Industries Company’s revenues grow

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 21

The revenues of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) grew by 152 percent in the last Iranian year (March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020) compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 21, 2018 to March 21, 2019), Managing Director of the company Ardashir Sad Mohammadi said, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.

Sad Mohammadi said that last year, the earnings per share was 1,201 rials (about 0.2 cent).

The director added that anode copper production in Iran increased by 14 percent and cathode copper production by 12 percent in the first month of the current Iranian year (March 20-April 20, 2020).

Sad Mohammadi noted that 132,500 tons of sulfur soil was produced per day in the 3rd month (May 21-June 20). And this figure was a record for production.

“This figure is 2,500 tons more than compared to the first 3 months of last Iranian year,” he said.

The sale value of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company was 34.3 trillion rials (about $817 million) in the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 20-May 20, 2020). The company's sales amounted to 27.7 trillion rials (about $660 million) in the second month.
