Car manufacturing of Iran's Saipa Group increased by 55 percent during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 20-June 20, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, SAIPA Group Sales & Sales Services Vice President Majid Bagheri said, Trend reports citing the group’s website.

Bagheri said the company manufactured 100,000 cars during the mentioned period this year.

According to Bagheri, Tiba, Saina and Quick cars will be the most manufactured cars at the company in the current Iranian year (began March 20, 2020).

Bagheri stressed that in addition, the Saipa Group will deliver new "Saipa Shahin" car to customers from the second half of current Iranian year (to start from September 22, 2020).

“Saipa will stop manufacturing of Pride cars. No car will be manufactured as an alternative to this car,” he said.

Bagheri added that 30,000 Pride cars have been manufactured since the beginning of the current Iranian year, and the price of each car was 380 million rials (about $9,000). More 20,000 cars will be delivered to customers at the same price by the end of this month.
