Iran boosts product exports via Isfahan Province’s customs

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 27

The export of non-oil products through the customs of Isfahan Province increased by 54 percent in terms of value and 47 percent in terms of weight during the first three months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through June 20, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Director General of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s (IRICA) branch in the province Rasul Kuhestani said, Trend reports citing IRICA.

Kuhestani noted that 313,000 tons of products worth $147 million were exported in three months.

Kuhestani added that these products have been exported to 56 countries around the world.

The director general emphasized that out of the total volume of the products exported from the country, 34 percent in terms of weight and 50 percent in terms of value account for Isfahan Province.

In the same period last Iranian year, these indicators stood at 22 percent and 34 percent, respectively.
