Uzbekistan will put up 12 assets of Uzkimyosanoat JSC for public auction, Trend reports with reference to the Uzbek Ministry of Justice.
The government adopted a resolution on additional measures for the effective use of assets and improving the financial condition of organizations that are part of JSC Uzkimyosanoat.
Upon the decision, 12 assets to be sold through public tenders, while three assets to be transferred to state bodies and authorities as state property.
The initial price of assets at public auction will be set at their balance sheet or nominal value.
The resolution prohibits expenditures by chemical enterprises on assets that are transferred to state bodies and authorities at book value as state property.
Uzkimyosanoat JSC was founded in March 2001 on the basis of the association of chemical industry enterprises of the same name. It consists of 43 chemical enterprises and organizations. At present, the enterprises of the branch carry out projects worth about $2 billion.
