Asaka Bank supports confectionery manufacturer of Uzbekistan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 13

Uzbekistan’s Asaka Bank has provided loans worth over $43.3 million to Uzbek Crafers LLC confectionery manufacturer, Trend reports with reference to Uzbekistan National News Agency.

Currently, the company produces 150 types of confectionery products. The company's products have the Halal certificate (permissible in Islam).

The Company has big plans for the future, among which, is the export of sweets to the US, said the report.

"Currently, the company exports its goods to Central Asia, Afghanistan, Russia, South Korea and the Baltic States. In the future, the company plans to expand the assortment and bring the annual export volume up to $4 million. At present, the enterprise employs 800 people," the message said.

Asaka Bank, in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, provided privileges to Crafers LLC on credit payments for almost $8 million.

The amount of annual tax of Crafers LLC is 38 billion soum ($3.7 million). The company has 12 lines and production capacity is about 2,400 tons of products per month. The volume of annual production is 47,500 tons.
