Azerbaijan exported products worth a total of more than $7.6 billion from January through June 2020, which is 29.7 percent less compared to the same period in 2019, Trend reports with reference to the report of the country’s State Customs Committee (SCC).
The public sector's share in exports amounted to $3.8 billion, which makes up 49.7 percent of the total export. The share of the private sector (legal entities) is $3.8 million, or 49.8 percent of the total export. Individuals accounted for $33.4 million.
In total, Azerbaijan exported 2,190 and imported 6,880 types of goods, conducting foreign trade operations with 167 partner countries. Most of all, from January through June 2020, Azerbaijan exported oil and petroleum products, electricity, as well as fruits and vegetables.
