The number of purchases and sales of real estate in Kazakhstan amounted to 147,455 transactions over the period from January to July 2020, which is 16.6 percent less than during the same period of 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
The total number of buy/sell transactions implemented in Kazakhstan in July 2020 amounted to 26,688 transactions which is 16.9 percent less than in June 2020 and 17.8 percent less than during the same month of 2019.
The largest number of transactions was observed in Almaty city where it amounted to 4,240 transactions, which is 18.7 percent less than in June 2020 and 5.1 percent less than in July 2019.
Almaty is followed by Nur-Sultan city with 2,982 transactions, which is 12.5 percent less than during June 2020 and 28.5 percent less than in July 2019.
Karaganda region takes the third place (2,954 transactions in Jul. 2020), showing a 9.5-percent decrease compared to June 2020 and a 15.9-percent decrease compared to July 2019.
The least number of purchase and sale of housing transactions during July 2020 was observed in Atyrau region (508 transactions, decrease by 9.5 percent compared to June 2020 and by 15 .9 percent compared to July 2019).
