Agricultural products worth over 4.9 billion manat ($2.8 billion) were produced in Azerbaijan from January through July 2020, showing an increase by 2 percent compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing the report of the State Statistical Committee.
As reported, the value of plant products in the country rose by 0.7 percent over the year, exceeding 2.46 billion manat ($1.45 million).
Meanwhile, the value of livestock products increased by 3.2 percent year-on-year, surpassing 2.45 billion manat ($1.44 billion).
In 2019, the value of agricultural products produced in the country amounted to 7.8 billion manat ($4.5 billion), including of plant origin - 3.7 billion manat ($2.1 billion), and of animal origin – 4 billion manat ($2.3 billion).
