Manufacturing enterprises to be put into operation in Iran's Hamadan Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 26

Eight manufacturing enterprises will be put into operation in the Hamadan Province (western Iran) during August 23-29, chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Hamadan Province Hamid Reza Matin said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

The chairman noted that a total of 330 billion rials (about $7.85 million) was spent on the construction of these enterprises.

Matin added that these enterprises will manufacture elevator engines, detergent, various copper tools, kitchen utensils, etc.

The chairman emphasized that 260 people will be employed with the commissioning of these enterprises.

“Most of these enterprises are located in the industrial parks of Hamadan Province. The government has created the necessary infrastructure for these enterprises," he said.

In addition, a plant on manufacturing of sanitary wares was built in the Bahar county with an investment of 160 billion rials (about $3.8 million). The plant will be commissioned soon and will employ 300 people.

There are more than 1,000 manufacturing enterprises in Iran's Hamadan Province.

A total of 499 enterprises are expected to be commissioned or laid the foundation during the government week in Iran's Hamadan Province.
