Prices on fuel oil, gasoline drop in Kazakhstan

Prices on goods and services of Kazakhstan’s industrial ventures decreased by 6.9 percent in Aug. 2020 compared to Dec. 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

A decrease in prices by 16.7 percent was observed in the mining industry, whereas in the processing industry an increase by 4.4 percent was observed.

The industrial goods decreased in price by 8.1 percent, whereas services of industrial nature increased in price by 4.2 percent.

Prices on fuel oil have dropped by 49.3 percent in Aug. 2020 compared to Dec. 2019, liquefied propane and butane by 32.8 percent, oil by 22.1 percent, gasoline by 10.7 percent, diesel fuel by 10.1 percent, natural gas by 4.6 percent, for metal ores up 11.7 percent, coal by 1.4 percent.

A decrease in prices was observed on zinc by 6.5 percent, lead by 5.3 percent, aluminum by 2.2 percent, whereas prices increase was observed on precious metals by 21.5 percent, copper by 16.4 percent, ferroalloys by 6 percent, rolled ferrous metals by 2.9 percent.

The increase in producer prices was observed for cereals by 10.7 percent, wheat flour by 10.3 percent, rye by 5.7 percent, sugar by 9.9 percent, vegetable oil by 9.7 percent, tea by 7.4 percent, livestock meat by 7.1 percent, pasta by 5.4 percent, dairy products, and rice by 5.1 percent, bread by 4.3 percent.
