Kerosene was actively sold on State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in August 2020, Trend reports with reference to exchange’s data.
In the first week of August, lighting kerosene was purchased by entrepreneurs from Russia, the UK, the UAE, Turkey, and Afghanistan.
During the auction in the second week of August, businessmen from Russia, the US, the UAE, Oman, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene.
In the third week of August, no sales of kerosene were registered.
During the last week of trading in August, businessmen from Afghanistan and the UAE purchased aviation kerosene.
Some 152 transactions totaling more than $65.6 million were registered on the exchange of Turkmenistan in August.
Transactions were made both in Turkmen manats and foreign currency.
In particular, transactions were made in foreign currency in the amount of $48.6 million, and in the national currency – more than 60 million manats (more than $17 million).
