The total production of the Iranian Esfahan Steel Company amounted 949,651 tons during first 5 months of current Iranian year (March 20-August 21, 2020), Trend reports citing Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
According to the report, the company produced 305,000 tons of iron girder over five months. The production was 57,300 tons in the 5th month (July 22-August 21) and 70,500 tons in the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 21-July 21).
"In addition, Esfahan Steel Company produced 217,000 tons of fittings in 5 months. Thus, the production amounted 38,400 tons in the 5th month and 47,200 tons in the 4th month," the report added.
At the same time, 4,590 tons of coil steel were produced at the company within five months, and this production was 813 tons in the 5th month and 1,840 tons in the 4th month.
According to the report, Esfahan Steel Company produced 12.600 tons of other steel products in 5 months. The production amounted 25 tons in the 5th month and 1,800 tons in the 4th month.
"A total of 388,000 tons of steel ingots were produced at the company in five months. Of this volume, 72,500 tons were produced in the 5th month and 78,000 tons in the 4th month," the report noted.
The Esfahan Steel Company produced 22,600 tons of rails during five months. Thus, 3,830 tons were produced in the fifth month and 6,000 tons in the fourth month, according to the report.
