Iran Khodro and Saipa companies will offer 18,000 and 7,000 vehicles per month in online sales, respectively, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade said.

“The plan will be completed to implement the approvals of the automobile committee and to manage the market and increase the supply of automobiles,” Mehdi Sadeghi Niaraki, Deputy Minister of Industry said in the meeting of the Automobile Committee, Trend reports citing YJC.

“Iranian major carmakers will allocate 40 percent of their products to new sales plans and 60 percent to fulfill their previous commitments,” he said.

Referring to plan to sell unproductive assets of the car companies, Niyaraki said that the revenues of the sale of surplus assets should be spent on domestic parts production projects.

He went on to say that the import of parts with similar domestic produce is prohibited.

“Sales of 150,000 cars in the second half of the current Iranian year (end on March 21, 2021) will help control prices in the market," he added

Referring to the establishment of a committee at the Industrial Development & Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) to oversee domestic construction programs he says that the committee should be formed to monitor domestic construction programs and provide the required facilities.
