Poland striving to better use opportunities provided by Azerbaijani market

Poland, like Azerbaijan, is interested in digital transformation and modern agriculture, Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki told Caspian Energy, Trend reports.

"For several years now, we have been striving to strengthen economic cooperation with the countries of the Caspian Sea, including with Azerbaijan, by strengthening or establishing new business contacts," Morawiecki said.

“We have proved that, despite the geographical remoteness, close trade and technological cooperation between our countries, as well as closer relations between companies of both countries, are possible. I would like Polish companies to more effectively use the opportunities provided by the Azerbaijani market, and vice versa," Morawiecki said.

The Prime Minister stressed that Polish entrepreneurs from various industries offer very high quality products, which certainly meet the requirements of Azerbaijani consumers and business partners.

"We look to the future, we try to adapt our economy to the latest developments," Morawiecki summed up.

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Poland amounted to $69.02 million over the period from Jan. through Aug. 2020.
