Turkey’s activity on Turkmenistan's Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange for October 2020

Turkey actively participated in the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in October 2020, Trend reports with reference to exchange.

In the first week of October, Turkey purchased high-density polyethylene, cotton and denim fabrics, cotton yarn and plastic containers on Turkmen exchange in foreign currency.

During the second week of October, Turkey purchased products from Turkmenistan, both in foreign currency and in Turkmen manat. Thus, hydrotreated diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, liquefied gas, calcined petroleum coke, high - density polyethylene, smooth - colored and jacquard terry products, cotton yarn and colorless flat glass were purchased in foreign currency, while cotton yarn was purchased for Turkmen manat.

In foreign currency, Turkey purchased gasoline, diesel fuel, base oil and total petroleum coke, colorless flat glass, dyed Terry products, cotton yarn, dried licorice root, and cotton yarn in the Turkmen manat on the Turkmen exchange during trading in the third week of October.

As for the last week of last month, Turkey purchased dyed terry products, knitwear, cotton fabric and yarn for foreign currency on the Turkmen stock exchange.

As reported, in September, Turkey was also an active participant in the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

The state commodity exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important agency of state regulation of export-import operations.
