The contract between Georgia and American-British law firm Hogan Lovells will be extended within the framework of the project of the new terminal of Poti, Trend reports via Georgian media.
The Ministry of Economy hired the law firm Hogan Lovells at the end of June. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the deadline for purchasing the services is extended to June 30th, 2021.
The Government of Georgia hires the company for $1,2 million. In response to this, the company must ensure the proper participation of the government in the project of Poti Sea Port development.
This includes preparing the project of the Team Sheet, investment agreement, and assistance in the negotiations with investors and operators.
According to the information provided by Poti Sea Port Corporation, the total investment for the project is $350 million.
