Turkmenistan, Portugal outline promising areas of cooperation

Turkmenistan and Portugal outlined promising areas of cooperation, Trend reports with reference to Business Turkmenistan information portal.

Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Portugal Global Trade and Investment Agency (AICEP) held online talks.

The main and promising areas of cooperation between the sides were outlined to be industry and construction, agriculture, the textile industry, and the transport and logistics sector.

During the talks, the delegations presented their country's economic and investment opportunities and exchanged views on ways and forms of interaction.

During the talks, the Turkmen side was led by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dovletgeldi Rejepov, and the Portuguese side was headed by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the AICEP Luis Castro Henriquez.

AICEP is a government business entity, focused on encouraging the best foreign companies to invest in Portugal and contribute to the success of Portuguese companies abroad in their internationalization processes or export activities.
