Azerbaijan imported 48,827 cars from January through October 2020, which is 20.8 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports via a report of the State Customs Committee (SCC).
In the first ten months of 2020, the number of passenger cars, which is the bulk of the country’s imports, reached 39,853, showing a growth of 24.8 percent year on year.
Some 156 vehicles with a capacity of 10 people and more were imported.
“The number of imported trucks also decreased by 7.8 percent, amounting to 2,705 units. In addition, the number of imported special purpose vehicles was 113 units,” said the report.
At the same time, the value of imported vehicles for 10M2020 totaled over $511.4 million.
