Iran discloses details of exports from Razavi Khorasan Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 26

A total of 1.7 million tons of goods worth $873 million were exported through the customs of Razavi Khorasani Province (northeastern Iran) during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through November 20, 2020), Customs Inspector for Razavi Khorasan Province Customs Office, Omid Jahankhah said, Trend reports citing Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

According to him, the exported goods were mainly saffron, pistachios, metal products, construction materials and etc.

The inspector added that these goods were exported to several countries, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Hong Kong.

“Moreover, 112,000 tons of goods worth $236 million were imported through the customs of Razavi Khorasan Province during the reporting period,” he said.

Jahankhah also noted that the imported goods were mainly cotton, raw materials and equipment for manufacturing enterprises, raw silk and etc.

The official stressed that these goods were mainly imported from the UAE, Uzbekistan, China and Turkey.
