Details of Iran’s trade turnover announced

Iran's foreign trade turnover amounted to about 12.8 million tons worth $6.3 billion in the 8th month of the current Iranian year (October 22 through November 20, 2020), Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing IRICA.

Latifi stressed that Iran exported 10.2 million tons of goods worth $3.21 billion during the reporting month.

"Moreover, Iran imported 2.55 million tons of goods worth $3.09 billion in the 8th month of the current Iranian year, the spokesman added.

Iran exported 75 million tons of goods worth $21.5 billion within the first eight months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through November 20, 2020). The goods were mainly exported to Iraq, China, the UAE, Turkey and Afghanistan.

In addition, Iran imported 21.8 million tons of goods worth $23.1 billion during 8 months. The goods were mainly imported from China, the UAE, Turkey, India and Germany.
