The following quality of the next Iranian year (starts March 21, 2021) budget plan would not help the country's economy, said the head of parliament plan and budget commission.
"The government's predicted revenue in next Iranian year budget plan is $200 billion but the real figure is $59 billion and one can not count on the rest," said Hamid Reza Hajibabai, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
"It can not be predicted that Iran could sell 2.3 million barrels of oil but the following figure has been referred to as budget sources. There is a difference between the workers' salaries that have been predicted for the budget plan than the real figures since the social gap grows every day," he said.
Hajibabai went on to say that individuals that are covered by Social Security Organization and Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation are not receiving minimum wages therefore increasing their income to 25 percent would not solve anything while reforming budget structures.
"About 90 percent of budget structure has been reformed by the cooperation of the government there is no way but to complete the whole budget structure. The country's general budget is more than budget for state owned companies and the parliament plans to create transparency in budget of state owned companies," he noted.
"The predicted revenue from the sale of state-owned companies are possible since according to current Iranian year budget plan the sale bough $2.8 billion revenues that could continue to $14.2 billion revenue by the end of the current Iranian year," he added.
According to Hajibabai, all the revenues from energy bills would go to the treasury. Furthermore, he added that the projected revenue for utilities is $3.3 billion while the capacity is $71 billion therefore there should be a structural view toward energy carriers alongside three deciles.
