Joint management of melioration and irrigation facilities under construction at Azerbaijan’s Amelioration and Water Management OJSC and ‘Gidrotransproyekt’ Research Center for Design of Hydraulic and Transport Structures signed a contract worth 980,000 manat ($576,800), Trend reports on Dec.8 citing the Electronic Procurement portal.
According to the portal, the winner of the tender announced by Amelioration and Water Management OJSC for the preparation of feasibility study and design documents for the reconstruction of the Yukhary Zeykhur Canal, Gusar district.
“By the decision of the tender commission, Gidrotransproyekt’ Research Center for Design of Hydraulic and Transport Structures was chosen as the winner of the tender,” the portal added.
The main task of the Amelioration and Water Management OJSC is to manage water resources, provide various sectors of the country's economy with water for mainly agricultural, irrigation use and improve the reclamation state of lands.
