Volume of fruit exports from Turkmenistan to EAEU revealed

Turkmenistan exported a large amount of various fruits to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) from January through September of this year, Trend reports, citing statistics from the Eurasian Economic Commission.

According to statistics, during this period, Turkmenistan exported more than 221 tons of fresh or dried grapes to such EAEU countries as Kazakhstan and Russia.

Thus, the amount of the above-mentioned exports amounted to $221,447. At the same time, the share of Kazakhstan in imports amounted to $128,439, and the share of Russia-$93,007.

Turkmenistan also exported 53.4 tons of fresh melons, watermelons and papayas to Russia for a total of $44,310.

Turkmenistan exported fresh apples, pears and quinces in the amount of 483.4 tons to countries such as Kazakhstan and Russia for a total of $290,701 during the specified period.

Thus, the share of Kazakhstan in the total import amounted to $56,686, and the share of Russia-$234,014.

The statistics also indicate that fresh apricots, cherries, cherries, peaches, plums and blackthorn were exported to Kazakhstan in the amount of 32.5 tons, totaling $24,379.

From January through August of this year, Turkmenistan exported more than 92 tons of fresh or dried grapes to such EAEU countries as Kazakhstan and Russia.

Also, from January through August, Turkmenistan exported 34.8 tons of fresh melons, watermelons and papayas to Russia for a total of $28,872.
