Details of exports via Iran’s Isfahan Province announced

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 26

A total of 5.06 million tons of goods worth $1.61 billion were exported through the customs of Iran’s Isfahan Province, during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 20 through December 20, 2020), Director General for Isfahan Province Customs Office, Rasoul Kuhestani said, Trend reports citing Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

The director-general emphasized that the goods were exported to 85 countries, mainly Iraq worth $399 million, China worth $233 million, the UAE worth $221 million, Afghanistan worth $174 million, and Indonesia worth $80 million.

Kuhestani added that 1,280 types of goods were exported through the customs of Isfahan Province.

“About $843 million worth of cast iron, iron and steel products, $245 million worth of petrochemical products and $60.7 million worth of carpets were exported,” he said.

The director-general noted that at the same time, dairy products worth $47.5 million and organic chemicals worth $38 million were exported from the province.
