Azerbaijan improves export operations to Croatia

The export of Azerbaijani products to Croatia on an annualized basis increased from $369.6 million to $448.8 million in early December 2020, which is by 21.4 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports with reference to the statistical bulletin of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.

The share of Croatia in the total export volume of Azerbaijan amounted to 3.44 percent of the total volume compared to 2.02 percent in the same period of 2019.

By December 1, 2020, the import of Croatian products to Azerbaijan amounted to $2.2 million, while this figure was $2.4 million in 2019.

The share of Croatia in the total import volume of Azerbaijan remained unchanged and amounted to 0.02 percent.

The volume of foreign trade operations between the two countries amounted to more than $451 million, which is 21.2 percent more compared to the same period of 2019.

The balance of foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan with Croatia for the reporting period remained positive, amounting to $446.6 million.

In general, by early December 2020, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover amounted to more than $22.7 billion, which is by 25.9 percent less than in the same period of 2019.

Croatia mainly exports medicines, parts of transformers, and various equipment.

Azerbaijan mainly exports crude oil and jet kerosene fuel.
