Azerbaijan reveals data on sales through Azexport portal

The Azerbaijani Azexport portal implemented export orders worth $610.7 million from 142 countries in 2020, Head of the Communications Department of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan Zanura Talibova said, Trend reports citing the center.

The Azexport portal, jointly with the Worldef business school, the Worldef office in Azerbaijan, and the My Broker customs office has implemented the Amazon and e-commerce distance learning project, Talibova said.

“At the same time, the portal, together with the International Trade Center (ITC), organized online trainings in 2020 within the framework of the ‘Ready to Trade’ project,” Talibova said

During 2020, individuals and legal entities applied to the Single Window Export Support Center 1,069 times, as a result of which 1,298 certificates were issued, the head noted.

“From June 2017 through December 2020, construction, industrial, agricultural, and other products totaling $473.3 million were received by the Single Window Export Support Center. In 2020, products $182.8 million were exported” she said.

Azexport portal (www.azexport.az) was created by order of the head of state ‘On the creation of a unified database of goods produced in Azerbaijan’ dated September 21, 2016.

The portal is functioning under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. Its goal is to provide information on the goods of Azerbaijani origin. This portal is an effective platform for the sale of these goods in the foreign and domestic markets.
