The ferrous metal products worth $20.7 million were exported by Azerbaijan in the first 11 months of 2020, up by $3.3 million or 15.6 percent year on year, Trend reports referring to the statistical bulletin of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
According to the bulletin, in the reporting period, the value of ferrous metal products’ import to Azerbaijan decreased by $46 million (8 percent) up to $525.3 million on an annualized basis. Their share in a total volume of imports to the country made up 5.56 percent compared to 4.42 percent in 11M2019.
As of early Dec. 2020, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover amounted to more than $22.7 billion. Of these, more than $13 billion, or 57.42 percent, accounted for exports, and over $9.6 billion, or 42.58 percent, for imports.
