Coal concentrate production of two large Iranian companies increases

The coal concentrate production of Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company and Central Alborz Coal Company, which are operating under the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) increased by 6 percent during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 20 through December 20, 2020), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing IMIDRO.

According to the report, the two companies produced 535,000 tons of coal concentrate over the reporting period. While in the same period last Iranian year, this figure was 507,000 tons.

“In total, 1.35 million tons of mining materials were extracted within 9 months. This is an increase of 8 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year. However 1.24 million tons of mining materials were extracted in the same period last Iranian year,” the report said.

Furthermore, the two companies transported about 500,000 tons of coal concentrate to relevant local companies in nine months. This is a decrease of 5 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. Thus, 527,000 tons of coal concentrate were transported to relevant local companies in the same period last Iranian year, the report said.

According to the report, the production of these two companies in the 9th month (November 21 through December 20, 2020) increased by 26 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.

So, the two companies produced 63,500 tons of coal concentrate in the 9th month. This figure amounted to 50,200 tons in the same month last Iranian year.
