The government's efforts were to draft a real budget plan by considering the effect of inflation and economic pressures on low-income people and the need to increase production and creating new jobs, said the Iranian Government Spokesman.

"One of the features in the new Iranian year (starts March 21, 2021) budget plan is confronting sanctions and using global opportunities," said Ali Rabiei, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"Ambiguous comments on the budget would not solve any problem for the people, the budget is in the authority of the government and the parliament should not change the budget bill. We hope the interactions between parliament and the government would lead to an agreement over the budget bill," he noted.

"The Iranian government has faced economic growth despite Coronavirus crisis, the mortality and infection rate has declined due to the government efforts," he added.

The Iranian Parliament has been in disagreement over the government's predictions of revenues and foreign currency rate in the budget plan for the new Iranian year, the heads of three powers have recently announced the effort to reach common grounds.
