The export of Iran's steel products amounted to 1.98 million tons in total, during the first 9 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through December 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).
According to the report, this is a decrease of 27 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
“In addition, Iran imported 681,000 tons of steel products within nine months, which is an increase of 74 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year,” the report said.
Iran's raw steel exports over the reporting period amounted to 4.47 million tons, which is a decrease of 12 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
