Iran's Ministry of Road and Urban Development will launch 10,000 apartments in mid-February as part of the Mehr Housing Project, said the Deputy Minister of Road and Urban Development said Ahmad Asghari Mehrabadi, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
"The process of completing remaining apartments within the Mehr Housing Project is in place. During the term of Mohammad Eslami, 30,000 apartments were inaugurated and 10,000 more will be launched in mid – February," he said.
"The remaining apartments within the project are in the final stage of construction," said Mehrabadi.
"From the remaining 39,000 apartments, about 19,000 are in new cities, 15,000 are in cities with population of more than 25,000 people," said Mehrabadi.
"The government is simultaneously building 500 schools, 400 mosques and health care centers," he said.
