Iran's main economic approach is to increase export with neighbor countries, said First Vice President of Iran Eshaqh Jahangiri, Trend reports via IRNA.

"Afghanistan and Iraq are two biggest destination markets for Iran's exports, and trade with these two countries should be consistent. For this purpose, we are using all the necessary facilities near the borders," said Jahangiri.

He went on to add that Iran's government supports exporters and is helping to remove the existing limitations.

"There should be no obstacles for commodity exports and imports as well," he pointed out.

"Land borders were the most important path for import and export especially during sanctions, and it is necessary to have interaction and cooperation," he said.

"Trade regulations should be transparent, and the limitations introduced during the economic war should be lifted," Jahangiri said.

"All the heads of Iran's joint commissions with neighboring countries should work to solve the infrastructure-related issues with help from the Ministry of Road and Urban Development, and increase export especially by cooperation in transportation sector," he said.
