Cotton yarn was sold on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in both Turkmen manats and foreign currency in January 2021, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.

Thus, cotton yarn was sold to entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, the US, China, and the UAE in foreign currency in the first week of January, and from the UAE, Scotland, Pakistan, and Kazakhstan in the Turkmen manat.

In the second week of January cotton yarn was purchased by businessmen from the UAE, Turkey, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan in foreign currency, while to UAE, Scotland and Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan manat.

As for the third week of January, the entrepreneurs from Russia, UAE, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan have purchased cotton yarn in foreign currency, entrepreneurs from the UK, UAE, Turkey - in the Turkmenistan manat.

In the course of trading on the exchange of Turkmenistan last week of January, businessmen from Russia, UAE, UK, Turkey, Uzbekistan bought cotton yarn in foreign currency, and representatives of the UAE, UK, Turkey, Kazakhstan bought cotton yarn for the Turkmenistan manat.

Cotton yarn was also actively sold on the exchange of Turkmenistan in December, 2020.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important agency of state regulation of export-import operations.
