Georgia exported 4,157 tons of ferroalloys to Turkey totaling $4.26 million in January 2021, Trend reports referring to National Statistics Office (Geostat).
On an annual basis, Georgia increased the export of ferroalloys to Turkey by 690 tons.
Over the same period last year, 3,467 tons of ferroalloys were exported by Georgia to Turkey for a total amount of $3.32 million.
Turkey ranked second in Georgia’s commodity circulation in the reporting period.
In January 2020, total imports from Turkey to Georgia amounted to $92,880 million. In turn, Georgia exported goods worth $21,427 million to Turkey. The foreign trade turnover of Georgia with Turkey in the reporting period exceeded $114.308 million, which is 15 percent of Georgia's total trade turnover.
The external merchandise trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to $762.5 million in January 2021, which is 16.5 percent lower in comparison to the same month of 2020.
The exports equaled $224.4 million (16.2 percent lower), while the imports stood at $538.1 million (16.6 percent lower).
