Iran to launch several facilities under city municipalities

A number of facilities worth 150 trillion rials (about $3.57 billion) under the city municipalities in Iran will be put into operation by the end of the second month of next Iranian year (May 21, 2021), Minister of Internal Affairs of Iran Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said, Trend reports citing the IRINN.

He made the remark in an event dedicated to the launch of facilities in Iran on March 4.

The minister noted that 30,000 facilities were put into operation in Iranian cities at a cost of 1 quadrillion rials (about $23.8 billion) on February 1-11 (during 10- days event dedicated to the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran).

Rahmani Fazli added that 269 of the launched facilities belong to the environment and parks.

As reported, about 102 trillion rials (about $ 2.42 billion) worth of 1,000 municipal facilities was put into operation in Iran on March 4. About 67,900 people were employed with the launch of these facilities.

The Ghiyam and Dulab metro stations in Tehran city, a terminal and underground car park in Mashhad city, trade, culture and office buildings in Gorgan city, tourism and entertainment facility on 68 hectares in Karaj city, fruit and vegetable market on 24 hectares in Bandar Abbas city and others are the launched facilities.
