The growth in the volume of trade turnover of Turkmenistan's Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations from January through February of this year compared to the same period last year amounted to 11 percent, the growth rate in production – 25.1 percent, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The growth in the volume of products manufactured by enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry, including cotton yarn and fabrics, is 5.8 and 0.1 percent, clothing and knitwear-21.7 percent, leather products-4.5 percent.
The production plan for the Türkmenhaly State Association was exceeded by 9.9 percent.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange held48 trading sessions from January through February and concluded 5,157 contracts.
The growth rate of work performed by the Turkmen Chamber of Commerce and Industry was 3.1 percent.
The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan's growth rate of agricultural and food production in the reporting period was 22 percent, industrial production – 1.7 percent.
The growth in the volume of trade turnover of Turkmenistan's Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations in January this year compared to the same period last year amounted to 10.2 percent, the growth rate in production – 11.5 percent
The growth in the volume of products manufactured by enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry, including cotton yarn and fabrics, is 17.1 and 1.8 percent, clothing and knitwear - 23.2 percent, leather products- 5 percent.
