Afghanistan’s activity on Turkmenistan’s exchange in March 2021

Afghanistan remained an active participant at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in March 2021, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.

During the first week of March, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased diesel fuel and gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of Turkmenistan, as well as cotton yarn in foreign currency on the Turkmenistan’s exchange.

In addition, base oil became the subject of transactions of businessmen from the UAE, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan also during the first week of March in foreign currency.

In the second week of March, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan bought basic oil, polypropylene, liquefied gas, hydrotreated diesel fuel, petroleum road bitumen and aviation kerosene in foreign currency at the Turkmenistan’s exchange.

As for the third week of March, representatives of Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene and oil bitumen manufactured at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries in Turkmenistan.

Businessmen from Afghanistan also purchased aviation kerosene, oil bitumen, hydrotreated diesel fuel, gasoline and low-sulfur fuel oil produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, as well as ECO-93 brand gasoline in the last week of last month on the exchange of Turkmenistan.

Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan were also active participants of the Turkmenistan’s exchange in February 2021.

State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
