The Turkmen 'Üç nesile dowamat' company for the manufacture of polypropylene products plans to expand production, Trend reports with reference to the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.

The company also exports its products to Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine and Russia.

The company started working in November 2018. Currently, 20,000 meters of polypropylene products are manufactured per day.

As reported, that 66 percent of the structure of production in the country is accounted for by private business.

Thus, foreign investments are attracted for the development of the private sector in the country.

Turkmenistan increased the production of polypropylene by 40.5 percent, and polyethylene by 40 percent from January through July 2020, compared to the same period in 2019.

The physical volume of manufactured polypropylene was 71,100 tons, and polyethylene equaled 137,400 tons.

This production growth was due to The Kiyanly Gas Chemical Complex in Turkmenistan’s Balkan region, the construction of which was carried out under a contract of Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas State Concern with a consortium of companies like Hyundai Engineering Go.Ltd, LG International Corp (Republic of Korea), and Toyo Engineering Corp (Japan).
