The Mobarakeh Steel Company of Iran produced 700,000 tons of raw steel in the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2021), which is a new record on monthly production, Production Manager of the company Abbas Mohammadi said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
Mohammadi noted that so, the company produced 636,000 tons of raw steel in the same month last Iranian year (March 20 through April 19, 2020), 662,000 tons in the 12th month of last Iranian year (February 19 through March 20, 2021).
The official added that the company has prepared programs for maximum and planned use of equipment. This has borne fruit in production.
“Whereas before, the company carried out minor repairs along with production for 20 days in a month. During the remaining 10 days, production was suspended for overhaul. So, the equipment will be ready for production next month,” he said.
As reported, the Mobarakeh Steel Company of Iran can produce 10.3 million tons of steel products a year. The company produced about 7 million tons of steel products in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021).
The value of Mobarakeh Steel Company's sales amounted to 774 trillion rials (about $18.4 billion) last Iranian year, which is an increase of 98 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 through March 19, 2020).
