National Property Agency of Georgia will sell 58 properties at a 50 percent discount, Trend reports via Georgian media.
The agency continues to offer privatization of properties to enterprises within the framework of the program "100 Investment Proposals to Business"
Next time, the agency will put up more than 150 properties for sale. Both old and new properties are put up for online auction.
“The privatization process will be as transparent and accessible as possible for everyone. Buyers will be able to participate in electronic auctions without any bureaucratic procedures and in a short time become the owners of the state asset,” the statement says.
According to the agency, the price fixed as a result of the sale exceeds the original value of the property by about 50 percent.
The project "100 Investment Proposals for Business" has been operating in the country since November 2019. It provides for the simultaneous holding of one hundred parallel auctions and the privatization of state property according to a simplified procedure.
