The exports from the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) increased by 59 percent in terms of value and 15 percent in terms of volume during the first two months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through May 21, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Customs Inspector of Bushehr Province Behrouz Gharabeigi said, Trend reports citing Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
According to him, a total of 4.28 million tons of goods, including gas condensate, worth $1.3 billion were exported from Bushehr Province within the mentioned period.
Gharabeigi added that moreover, 53,000 tons of goods worth $149 million were imported into Bushehr Province in two months.
The official emphasized that also, a ship carrying 31,000 tons of rice docked at the Bushehr port last week.
“The main goods imported through the customs of the province were lentils, tea, corn, edible oils, peanuts, sunflower seeds, agricultural equipment and medical supplies, respectively,” he said.
Gharabeigi noted that 6,000 tons of essential products were imported through Bushehr customs in two months.
