The Civil Aviation Organization of Iran (CAO) has not issued an order to ban flights to Russia, so for now, they continue, head of Association of Iranian Airlines Maghsoud Asadi Samani told Trend.

"At the moment the ongoing domestic and foreign airlines are operating flights to Moscow," Samani said.

"Some individuals have purchased tickets and therefore it is possible that flights would continue," he said, commenting on whether all flights would be halted immediately after Civil Aviation Organization's order.

"At the moment no flight has been canceled by the order of the National Headquarters to Control Coronavirus," he said.

"Flights to Europe are ongoing according to schedule, Iran Air is the only Iran airline that operates flights to Europe," he said.
