Turkmen entrepreneurs sign export-import contracts with foreign companies

Turkmen entrepreneurs have recently signed 74 export-import contracts and cooperation agreements with foreign companies for a total amount of about $131.5 million, Trend reports with reference to Business Turkmenistan information portal.

The agreements were concluded for the supply of agricultural and food products, plastic pipes, various polymer products, as well as for the provision of transport services.

Contracts were signed with companies from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan within the framework of the Economic Forum of Central Asian countries.

Kyrgyzstan has become the most active Central Asia trader during the exchange trading of Turkmenistan held within the framework of the Central Asian Economic Forum and the exhibition of goods of the countries of the region.

In particular, entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan concluded 11 deals worth about $6.6 million.

In addition to Kyrgyzstan, 4 contracts worth more than $1.1 million were signed by businessmen from Uzbekistan.

Representatives of other countries also took part in the exchange.

The Economic Forum of the countries of the Central Asian region began working in Turkmenistan’s Avaza National Tourist Zone within the framework of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of States of Central Asia.
