The share of industry in the structure of Azerbaijan's GDP amounted to 40.3 percent from January through July 2021, which is 5 percent more compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the ministry, in the structure of GDP, 10.3 percent fell on trade and repair of vehicles (a decrease by 0.9 percent), 7.3 percent - on transport and storage facilities (a decrease by 0.2 percent), 6.5 percent - for agriculture, forestry and fish farming, 5.1 percent - for construction, more than 1 percent - for the sphere of tourist accommodation and personal services, 1.8 percent - for the sphere of information and communication, and 18.5 percent - for the share of other sectors economy.
In the same period, net tax revenues from imports of products in the specified period amounted to 9.1 percent of GDP, decreasing by 1.1 percent on annual basis.
Azerbaijan's GDP in the first 7 months of this year rose by 2.7 percent compared to the same period of 2020 and reached 47.2 billion manat ($27.7 billion).
