Azerbaijan sees increase in exports for 7M2021

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Aug. 17

Azerbaijan exported products in the total amount of $11.4 billion from January through July 2021, which is 24.8 percent more compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the report of the State Customs Committee.

Reportedly, the share of the public sector in exports of the country amounted to 49.05 percent of its total volume ($5.59 billion), the private sector - 50.31 percent ($5.73 billion).

The share of products of individuals in exports amounted to 0.64 percent ($72.8 million), said the report.

During the specified period, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations with 175 countries. 32,226 individuals and 7,029 legal entities took part in foreign trade operations.

The export of Azerbaijan was dominated by crude oil, oil products, natural gas, while the non-oil sector was dominated by fruits and vegetables.
