The Russian Stavropolsky Dairy Plant plans to increase the supply of products to Azerbaijan and Georgia, Trend reports citing Russian media.

“Last year, the Stavropolsky Dairy Plant for the first time sent trial consignments of lactose in the amount of 1.5 tons to Georgia and Azerbaijan. At the same time, the plant dispatched 2 tons of glazed curd for delivery to the USA. This is another achievement of the enterprise as an exporter,” said Dmitry Frolko, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropolsky Dairy Plant.

According to him, by the end of the year, within the framework of the international cooperation and export national project, it is planned to export agricultural products from the region in the amount of $448.5 million, which should exceed last year's figures by 10 percent.

This year the plant exported dairy products worth $240,000. In value terms, exports grew by 18 percent over the same period last year.
