Manufacturing of Iran's Saipa automaker down

Passenger cars manufacturing of Iran’s Saipa Group decreased by 4.28 percent during the first five months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through August 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.

According to the report, the Saipa manufactured 131,669 passenger cars in the 5 months.

Within the 5 months, the company manufactured 115,376 units Tiba, 9,145 units “Saipa 151” and 6,650 units Shahin cars.

In addition, the company manufactured and exported 138 Completely Built Up (CBU) passenger cars and 360 Completely Knocked-Down (CKD) spare parts.

“While in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (July 23 through August 22), the company manufactured 22,411 passenger cars,” the report said.
