Iran’s exports from Aran o Bidgol County in Isfahan Province (central Iran) increased by 68 percent in terms of value and 25 percent in terms of volume during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Director for the Industry, Mine and Trade Department in Aran o Bidgol County, Amir Abbas Shakeri told IRNA, Trend reports.
The director emphasized that 225,000 tons of goods worth about $182 million were exported from the county within the mentioned period.
Shakeri added that about 80 percent of the goods exported from the Aran o Bidgol County in 6 months were accounted for fittings, 17 percent for factory carpets, while 3 percent for other goods.
According to him, about $25 million worth of factory carpets and related goods were exported from this county over six months. There are currently 700 factories operating in the county on carpet manufacturing. So, more than 50 percent of factory carpets woven in Iran accounted for the county.
“The goods from Aran o Bidgol County were mainly exported to China, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the UAE, Iraq, Qatar and Georgia,” the director noted.
