Kazakhstan has extracted 82.05 million tons of coal over the period from January through September 2021, which is 11.5 percent more than during the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
The report said that the volume of coal extracted in September 2021 stood at 10.2 million tons, which in turn is 1.4 percent more than in September 2020.
Furthermore, crude oil extraction including gas condensate was 62.3 million tons during the reporting period, which is 3.6 percent less as compared to the volume extracted during the same period of 2020. Kazakhstan’s September oil output was 6.4 million tons, which also is 0.3 percent more than during the same month of 2020.
Kazakhstan also extracted 39.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas during the reporting period of 2021 and 3.7 billion cubic meters in September, which is 5.3 percent less and 2.9 percent less year-on-year.
Fuel oil manufacturing volume stood at 1.9 million tons and 226,300 tons during the reporting period and September 2021 respectively, which is 20.8 percent more and 26.6 percent more than during the same period of 2020.
Kerosene manufacturing amounted to 444,500 tons over nine months (up by 43.2 percent) and 45,200 tons in September 2021 (up by 43 percent), whereas diesel manufacturing equaled 3.8 million tons over nine months (up by 9.6 percent) and 470,300 tons in September 2021 (up by 14.2 percent).
Hydrocarbon liquefied gases output was 866,800 tons over nine months of 2021 with an annual decrease of 2.9 percent, whereas September output was 99,300 tons (up by 2.8 percent annual).
Electricity generation over nine months of 2021 equaled 83.8 billion kWh, which is 7.7 percent more than during the same period of 2020, whereas the volume of electricity generated in September 2021 amounted to 9 billion kWh, which is 7.5 percent more year-on-year.
The volume of thermal energy generated from January through September 2021 amounted to 59.01 million Gcal with an annual increase of 9.5 percent, whereas September 2021 output was 3.2 million Gcal, which is 1.2 percent more than in September 2020.
